CRASH!

My pc & everything attached to it crashed via lightning over the weekend-
ok who can stand it?!? Well I couldn't so I'm back with my first laptop
#1 it was cheaper than getting a tower #2 it has just as much space or close
to it than a tower #3 it has just as many ports I can connect & #4 I can be
cool now and take it everywhere with me- even to the beach! I'll be at the
beach for 2 weeks!

Jewelweed - Poison Ivy Cure

Anywhere there is poison ivy the anecdote is close by,
that being Jewelweed.
I chop up the Jewelweed, stems & leaves & add the flowers
stick it in a big pot- add about a cup of water and let it
cook until it wilts down
Strain the Jewelweed into ice cube trays- after they firm into
cubes I toss them into a plastic bag clearly marked not for
consumption!
Just pull out an ice cube and rub it on your skin-
If you prefer something you can stick in your pocket to
take with you on a hike- email me & I'll send you a
small jar of the stuff for $5

Quilting Arts Magazine

'Cindy & Me'

Winter 2002 Judges' Choice
Quilting Arts Magazine hosted its 2nd annual calendar contest-

"The goldwork-framed portrait from 1954 is of my sister Cindy and Me. The embellished room created with fabric manipulation, beaded stumpwork, silk ribbon embroidery, trapunto, and soft sculpture provide the background for my dolls. Past and present, a touch of humor without sinister effect, this block is a gift for my sister."
